It meets regularly to review our policy, strategy and practice and to monitor our progress and performance.
EDI board
The EDI board has its own terms of reference and meets at least every few months.
Chaired by Jen Skila, acting director of OD and policy, the EDI board includes representatives from all departments and also our 5 EDI strategy workstream leads:

- Jane Lakin, assistant director, legal services
- Sally Pearson, human resources
- Angela Beighton, assistant director of trade services, children's services
- Gemma Poulter, assistant director, adult social care
- Simon Harvey, assistant director, public health
- Gemma Gregory, senior project officer, countryside, place
- Michelle Collins, community safety manager, corporate services and transformation
- Andy Williams, head of employment and skills, place
- Carmel Riley, disability employment service, public health
- John Cowings, principal equalities officer, policy and research
- Lukasz Gazda, equality, diversity and inclusion manager, human resources, corporate services and transformation
