Some parts of the process are beyond our control such as waiting for the candidate to give notice to their previous employers, waiting for a DBS clearance and references being returned, but there are also plenty of opportunities for recruiting managers to help make the process flow as smoothly as possible.
- Shortlist promptly so that the process is not held up. Your target is to identify the shortlisted candidates within 5 working days after the closing date.
- Following on from the interview and a job offer has been accepted, please notify the recruitment team by moving the candidate's stage on Recruit to 'job offered and accepted', and then completing the job details tab in the offer tab.
- Stay in touch with the successful candidate and assist in chasing any checks.
Once onboarding checks are complete, the recruitment team will generate the start date information email to the manager.
Your target is to confirm the start date 2 working days after the recruitment team have requested it. The contract will then be issued as soon as possible after the start date information is received.
