Resourcing approval exemptions
Some roles in adult social care and health and children's services have been given temporary exemption from the resourcing approval process.
These follow a slightly different approval route to the non-exempt roles and it begins by completing the vacancy control and minor variations form (excluding ASCH like for like replacement only which can be advertised without additional approval).

- occupational therapist
- senior care worker
- senior enablement support worker
- senior practitioner
- social care practitioner

Children's services
- assistant children's residential worker
- central placement officers
- placements commissioning officer
- child protection managers
- deputy homes manager
- independent reviewing officer
- lead SEND officer
- night care assistant (residential home)
- practice supervisor (child protection teams and children with disabilities teams, fostering - recruitment and assessment team)
- registered homes manager
- residential children's worker
- SEND officer
- social worker (child protection, fostering - recruitment and assessment team only, children with disabilities only)
- team managers (child protection, fostering - recruitment and assessment team, children with disabilities only)
