Work to prepare for local government reorganisation across the 10 Derby and Derbyshire councils is continuing to move forward.


Project teams have been set up across all service areas to look at what needs to be in place from the first day of any new authority. This means making sure essential services can continue without disruption, for example, that the right systems are in place, staff know their roles, key processes are identified, and residents can still access the services they rely on. It’s still very early days, so don't be concerned if you're not hearing too much detail just yet.  

We’re keen to understand what matters most to you. We’ll soon be launching a staff survey to help us do this, giving you the chance to tell us what you’d like to hear more about, and how. Please look out for this and share your views.
