Autumn vaccines to keep you well
14 October 2022
It is expected that high levels of respiratory germs will be circulating this winter so it's important anyone who is eligible and able to have a flu or COVID-19 jab should take up the offer. These vaccines will help to protect you from becoming seriously ill if you become infected. It will also help to reduce the spread of infections across your family and those you spend time with.
If you are pregnant, you may not be able to fight off infections as easily and this could lead to you becoming more seriously ill from flu or COVID-19. Find out more about flu and COVID-19 vaccinations and pregnancy.
Vaccinations are available from GPs, some pharmacies, and maternity services.
