The team won the Most Inclusive Menopause Friendly Employer category at the prestigious 2023 Menopause Friendly Employer Awards on 14 September 2023.
The team was up against BAE Systems, HSBC UK, First Direct and M&S Bank and was praised for its rich understanding of menopause inclusivity in the workplace. Of special note is the Menopause Inequalities Programme which seeks to better understand and support the impact of ethnicity and diverse gender identities. This follows shortly after the launch of our menopause policy and support documents.
And on 19 September the team won the cross-sector working category in the Healthcare People Management Association Awards which recognises a project, product or service developed across multiple sectors that has had a measurable impact and delivered real outcomes for clients or customers.
Our involvement in the JUCD Wellbeing partnership provides a whole range of free wellbeing support to our employees including a free timetable of wellbeing activities for our employees across a whole range of different areas.
We’re an integral part of JUCD which is a group of organisations including local authority, NHS, primary care, community and voluntary enterprises and some private sector partners whose vision is to improve health and wellbeing across Derbyshire and Staffordshire.
