Baton of Hope, Derby and Derbyshire

The Baton of Hope is coming to Derbyshire on 13 September 2025, carried along an iconic route through Derby by those bereaved and affected by suicide. Suicide is the biggest killer of men under 50 in the UK and it is increasingly impacting young people,

To support this vital cause, the Baton of Hope Committee and partners are leading a sponsored walk around the Edale Skyline on Saturday 3 May 2025, covering a staggering 30km over 10 hours.

There's also a fundraising concert starring Andy Quinn, who shot to fame on prime-time TV when he was revealed as the Unexpected Star on Michael McIntyre's Big Show.

All monies raised goes toward Baton of Hope Derby and Derbyshire to help our ongoing events and activities for the main tour day.
