Business Centre offers assistance

1 May 2020

The Derbyshire Business Centre has remained open during the pandemic and are looking to assist staff wherever possible.

Subject to staff availability they can help with the following:

  • Scanning incoming post - Currently we're scanning incoming post to various departments, which allows the majority of staff to work safely from home. If departments would like us to scan incoming post, they can email ashley.cook@derbyshire.gov.uk and we can arrange for all their incoming post to be scanned and emailed to them the same day.
  • Delivery of equipment and supplies - In addition to delivering PPE and food parcels across the county, our drivers are also supporting staff by delivering personal equipment including chairs, computer monitors and laptops from their workplace to their home addresses. If this something that would help you work from home, please contact ashley.cook@derbyshire.gov.uk
  • Area mail vans -  The area mail vans are still operational. Along with the normal orange bag deliveries/collections the vans have been assisting with PPE deliveries and food parcels. Any queries around area mail deliveries please contact the post room on 01629 536997.
  • Print and post – Any outgoing post can be sent to digital.print@derbyshire.gov.uk. The team will then print, pack and post the mail.
