The day dedicated to celebrating reservists comes in the middle of Armed Forces Week, with Armed Forces Day on Saturday 24 June.
We are silver level members of the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) and fully acknowledge the valuable contribution Reserve Forces make to the Armed.
Forces every year, using spare time and annual leave to take part in intensive training and other duties.
As part of our commitment to the ERS, our reservists get 2 weeks special leave to use towards fulfilling their duties.
If you’d like to help us highlight the day and the amazing contribution you make, we want to hear from you.
You’d need to be happy to let us use a picture of you in your civvies, and one in your uniform, sent by email, and we’d need to use your name, council job title and reservists title. We’d also need a sentence or two about why you are a reservist and why you enjoy it.
