Changes in finance and ICT senior management

As previously announced Pete Handford, Director of Finance and ICT, will be leaving the council this week, to take up the role of Chief Finance Officer at the Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust in the new year.

Our Assistant Director of Finance, Paul Stone, will temporarily cover the Director of Finance and ICT post, including acting as the statutory role of Chief Financial (section 151) Officer.

A further announcement will be made in the new year to update colleagues on our new Director of Finance and ICT following the recent recruitment process.
