Changes to long service recognition - February 2024 update

In October we updated you that we've reviewed our existing approach to celebrating long service and from 1 January 2024, employees will no longer receive vouchers when they achieve 25 or 40 years of service. We said we would update you on plans to recognise employees' service from 2024.

From 1 January 2024 colleagues who reach 25 and 40 years of service will receive certificates that managers can complete and download and provide to employees. This change does not affect the approach to long service recognition that may be in place within departments or teams.

The introduction of the annual Our Derbyshire Awards, along with the launch of theOur Derbyshire Rewards platform, reflects our approach to recognising and thanking colleagues for their achievements, regardless of how long they have been working for us.
