As a result of these new opportunities, we’ve reviewed our existing approach to celebrating long service and from 1 January 2024, we will no longer be giving vouchers to those who have worked for us for 25 or 40 years.
The Lifetime Achievement Award category of the Our Derbyshire Awards allows us to continue recognising those who have worked with us for at least 25 years and delivered exceptional performance or had a significant impact.
This change does not affect the approach to long service recognition that may be in place within departments or teams.
If you will achieve 25 or 40 years’ service between 1 January 2023 and 31 December 2023, you’ll receive your vouchers by March 2024.
From 1 January 2024 colleagues who reach 25 and 40 years’ service will receive certificates and we will update you on our plans for this shortly.
