This year has brought its fair share of changes and pressures, but through it all you’ve supported each other, kept vital services running, and continued to deliver for residents. That’s something that we all should be incredibly proud of.
We’re grateful to all of you who are working over the festive period, and for those taking time off, we hope you enjoy a fantastic break however you spend it.
Thank you for everything you do. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Best wishes,
The Executive Team
2025 employee survey – “you said, we did"
You gave us feedback on what matters most to you through the employee survey in June. We’re listening and responding to your feedback and a survey will be launched in January to provide a quick insight into how you are feeling about the progress on action planning at both a local and organisation level.
Has action been taken as a result of a survey at organisation level?
Lowest scoring questions
We’ve updated you on what activities we’re working on to drive improvement in the lowest 4 scoring areas of the survey, following focus groups held in October and November with our engagement volunteers.
Verbatim comments
As well as sharing the free text comments from the survey with leaders (where there were at least 10 comments), they were grouped into key themes and shared with subject matter experts from each theme area.
We now have video updates from each subject matter expert to show we are listening and responding to your feedback.
The first updates on digital, wellbeing, pay and reward and learning and development were published last week.
Watch the videos on Our Derbyshire if you missed them.
Here are the updates on management and leadership, communication, work environment and recruitment:
