Consultation proposals due to be discussed by Cabinet

Our Cabinet is due to meet next week (Thursday 4 December 2025) to discuss 2 proposals to consult the public.

It will be asked to consider seeking people's views on how adult education is delivered to ensure it is flexible and able to help more people in areas where it is needed.

Councillors will also be asked to agree to seek a range of views on proposed changes to travel policies for eligible school children aged 5 to 16, post-16 learners and students with special educational needs and disabilities so that they are in line with national guidelines.
