We're currently behind other authorities in creating a more agile, flexible and mobile workforce. However, the coronavirus pandemic has accelerated the take up of opportunities to try new solutions.
The project will be led by colleagues from across the council who will look at ways that we can continue to embrace the use of new technology and develop plans to support our enterprising vision. Feedback from the recent Our Spirit pulse survey will also be considered as part of this project.
Join the project team
We want our people to lead at every level and that’s why we’re looking for volunteers from all departments, services and roles to join this project and play a part in shaping our future.
We need project team members who are keen to share their experiences and suggestions and are willing to help review our current approach, identify the potential for change and then work together to develop proposals for improvement.
Joining the group will involve taking part in facilitated discussions and participants may then be asked to help with some research and contribute to a report. The group will be encouraged to take a bold, innovative and commercial approach and not be afraid of doing things differently.
All participants will need to be available to attend an initial session during the week commencing Monday 19 October.
If you’re keen to be involved in this exciting opportunity to lead us forward then we want to hear from you.
Please complete the online registration form by Friday 2 October.
We may not be able to offer everyone a place on the project team as we need to ensure the group represents a cross section of roles within the council. We’ll be in touch with everyone once registration has closed.
