Derbyshire Families First Partnership showing positive early impact

Derbyshire's Families First Partnership (FFP) is already delivering encouraging results for children, young people and families through new ways of working that bring services together and help families access the right support at the right time.

Early progress has been seen through family group decision making and multi-agency child protection teams, with families becoming more involved in decisions affecting their children and professionals working more closely together to deliver coordinated support.

This week marks another important milestone for the programme with the launch of family help as part of the test-and-learn phase in South Derbyshire and Erewash.

Family help will provide earlier, more joined-up support for families through a single plan and services working together around a family's needs.
