Do you know how to stay safe online?

9 February 2022

We're all spending more and more time online so it's more important than ever to stay safe.

Tuesday 8 February 2022 was Safer Internet Day and we're backing the national campaign to increase awareness of how we can all use the internet safely and responsibly.

This year's theme was 'All fun and games?' - exploring young people's role in creating a safer internet, whether that's while gaming and creating content, or interacting with their friends. Find out more about how to protect young people on the Safer Internet Centre's website.

You can also take our Digital MOT to help protect yourself and your children and other young people from all aspects of online fraud and cybercrime. Devised with the police it's free and takes just 5 minutes to complete.

And you can gain skills and knowledge to help you, your family and the people you work with, by completing the cybercrime and online safety eLearning module, developed by our community safety team on Derbyshire Learning Online.
