5 November 2026

Huge congratulations go to our Education Data Hub which has been recognised at the Real Cyber Awards, winning the Public Service Cyber Impact Award as well as the Cyber Culture Impact Award.

Education data hub trophies.pngThe Education Data Hub supports schools, not only across Derbyshire, but nationally, to improve cyber security, data protection and digital resilience. Through practical advice, training, assessments and ongoing support, the service helps schools reduce cyber risk and build a positive cyber culture.

The awards recognise both the measurable impact of this support and the collaborative approach taken to embed good cyber practices across educational settings. Recognition in both the Public Service Cyber Impact and Cyber Culture Impact categories demonstrates that the service is delivering real outcomes while helping schools develop a sustainable culture of cyber awareness and resilience.

Winning both awards demonstrates not only the positive outcomes being achieved for schools, but also the strong culture of cyber awareness and continuous improvement that the service has helped foster across the education sector.

Clare Wilson, Head of Digital Traded Services said:

"We are delighted that Education Data Hub has received national recognition through these awards. This achievement reflects the dedication of the team and the positive impact of our work in helping schools strengthen their cyber resilience and develop a strong cyber-aware culture.

The service has supported schools and educational settings to improve their cyber security, strengthen data protection and build resilience to cyber threats. The awards recognise both the impact of this work and the positive cyber culture that has developed across the schools we support.
We are proud to work alongside schools to help protect their data, systems and communities."
