Microsoft Stream Classic is being retired and is changing to Stream on SharePoint - the new version of the platform with lots more features. As part of their retirement plans for Stream, Microsoft has disabled the ability to upload new videos to Microsoft Stream (Classic).
But don't worry, you can still access the videos you've previously stored on Microsoft Stream (Classic). However, this access will only be available until 1 October 2023. So if there are any videos you'd like to keep, you need to download them before this date.
Once downloaded, you can just upload your content into Teams, SharePoint, or OneDrive to start viewing your content in Stream on SharePoint. Head over to our dedicated Stream on SharePoint page on the Learning Centre to find out how.
