Employee survey 2023 now open - every voice counts

7 June 2023

Our 2023 employee survey is now open for your responses and will remain open for 4 weeks, closing at midnight on 30 June 2023.

We want all our people to have a voice so that we can better understand how you feel about working here and which areas we need to focus on to improve. Our last employee survey ran in February 2022 and 42% of our colleagues responded, which was good - but this year, we’d like to hear from even more of you!

Responses are completely anonymous and cannot be linked to any individuals. The survey should take between 10 and 15 minutes to complete, so please do find a bit of time to make your voice heard.

What we do with the survey results

We share the headline results of the survey with our corporate management team and department leadership teams initially. All directors, assistant directors and heads of service or function will receive their own survey results report which they will share with their teams. Local team engagement action planning sessions will then take place for you and your colleagues to discuss what improvements you can make to resolve key issues raised within your team.

Once the headline results have been shared widely in Our Derbyshire, we will be setting up department engagement forums, led by the executive directors, and an organisation engagement forum, led by Emma Alexander, to discuss the results and understand what the key themes are. If you’d like to join us at these forums, please register your interest in the forums and we’ll ensure you are invited.

After we’ve reviewed the key themes from these forums with our corporate management team, we will develop our new organisation action plan to make improvements wherever we can in these areas. So, this is your opportunity to shape and influence that plan and it starts here with the survey. We welcome all views and want to hear from you!
