Millie was presented with the honour at a special meeting of the council. A reception was held afterwards in the Members’ Room which was attended by Millie’s family, Councillors, senior officers and Aldermen and Alderwomen.
Numerous colleagues worked hard to make sure the event ran smoothly. Our civic office organised the event working with facilities management, legal and democratic services, member and management support, communications and the business centre.
