This is the third in our series of events, ‘everyone on board’. These events are all about providing a platform for different voices and different ways of doing things, ultimately to create better outcomes and improve health and wellbeing with people in Derbyshire, including marginalised and under-represented sections of the population, which is a priority for our whole system.

About the session
This session in the everyone on board series is about bringing things back to Derbyshire (and one of many great local examples of us working differently). The session, ‘Community wellness principles in practice, trusting communities and local decision making’ will be hosted by the Erewash Health and Wellbeing Partnership themselves.
The Erewash Health and Wellbeing Partnership is a group of partners working together to improve health and wellbeing outcomes and reduce health inequalities in Erewash.
In 2020 the Erewash Health and Wellbeing Partnership committed to delivering an asset-based community wellness programme, supporting, and trusting community networks to identify needs and solutions.
At this session we will be:
- sharing stories of our journey
- sharing the challenges we faced along the way
- discussing how embedding the principles of community wellness has influenced our work across local partnerships and health and wellbeing priorities
The Erewash Health and Wellbeing Partnership executives are representatives from Erewash Borough Council, Public Health, Active Derbyshire, Erewash Voluntary Action and Erewash clinical commissioning groups/ place lead.
A link to the session will be posted here on the day.
