Fight flu from the frontline - it's not too late

24 January 2020

If you work directly with older people, disabled children and other vulnerable groups then you have until 31 January to get your free flu vaccination.

Flu is a potentially fatal virus, especially for vulnerable groups like young children and older people. Outbreaks of flu are still being seen in health and social care settings, so if you haven’t received your vaccination yet it’s important to act quickly.

Although we won’t be running any more clinics this season, you can still get your free flu jab at a number of pharmacies. Find out how to get your vaccination.

Many thanks to the team at Eccles Fold Resource Centre who achieved the highest uptake of flu vaccinations for a day centre and excellent uptake among the home care team who are based out of the centre.
