Finance services live in HALO from 16 March

There’s a new way to contact finance colleagues for certain services and requests. This is the first step in providing a single, consistent way to raise finance‑related requests and queries.


From 16 March you will be able to use Halo for:

  • purchase approval requests (formerly pre‑requisitions)
  • commercial charge card applications
  • price discrepancy queries.

Using Halo for these requests helps us to:

  • respond more quickly and consistently
  • track requests from start to finish
  • make it easier for you to see progress and updates through the Halo ticket.

Here’s how to make a request:

  1. 1.Open Halo and log a ticket
  2. 2.Select the finance services option
  3. 3.Choose the request type that matches what you need

Each type of request includes on‑screen guidance to help you provide the right information first time.

From 16 March, please use Halo as your primary route for contacting finance for the services listed. Please avoid sending requests to shared mailboxes where a Halo option is available.

We’ll continue to add other services and requests to Halo as part of the finance improvement programme.
