Gifts and hospitality - updated process

We've made improvements to the way gifts and hospitality are recorded


To make things easier, you can now record your own entries directly using the designated forms – no need for your line manager to do it for you.

For those with an official @derbyshire.gov.uk email, you can record hospitality.

For employees without an official @derbyshire.gov.uk email, you can log these on your MyDerbyshire account using your payslip login email.

A quick reminder that our approach to hospitality and gifts is designed to protect both the organisation and individual employees from allegations of decisions on policy and purchasing being influenced by the receipt of personal benefits. Please remember that however unlikely such influence might be, we need to consider how the public and media might interpret our conduct. All offers of gifts or hospitality must be recorded, whether you accept them or not. More information is available on our code of conduct page.

We also ask that you report any gifts or hospitality in a speedy and accurate manner – please make sure all quarter 4 entries (1 January to 31 March 2026) are submitted by 17 April 2026.
