Infection Prevention Control (IPC) - vulnerable population project

10 November 2021

We've secured funding to help our vulnerable residents access resources to further reduce the risk of spreading coronavirus. The amount of people complying with infection prevention measures is lower in certain groups, partly because of financial barriers to buying basic supplies.

We currently hold supplies of disposable face masks, hand sanitiser, liquid soaps, washing up liquid, kitchen and surface sanitiser, disposable cloths, household cleaning gloves, toilet cleaner, disposable bin liners and disposable aprons, along with an advice leaflet on how to use these safely and effectively.

We need your help to distribute these resources and you can now place an order with the IPC project if you're working with vulnerable individuals or families who:

  • cannot ordinarily provide infection prevention control items themselves due to low income or affordability
  • are housebound due to a long-term health condition
  • are unable to access items from local shops
