Did you know that we have 11 learning disability reps based across the county? With support, they work hard to speak up for people with a learning disability in Derbyshire. They take part in meetings, work with professionals and are keen to learn lots of new skills.
To mark Learning Disability Week some of our learning disability reps invite you to meet them to find out more about what they do and how they do it. They will be available in Committee Room 2 at County Hall between 12noon and 1pm on Thursday 22 June 2023. They would love to demonstrate some Makaton signs or tell you about their recent training days. Why not bring your lunch to enjoy while you ask them some questions and find out more about what they do.
