Despite the allure of the sunny weather outside more than 150 people attended to find out about carbon cutting and sustainable working practices across the council.
Some cycled to the event, which coincided with Clean Air Day, or into work during the week. Others came along with broken items to be tackled by the pop up repair café, and many were attracted by the series of talks or the chance to test drive an electric car.
All departments that took part felt it was a worthwhile event - having good conversations and making new contacts.
Our Managing Director Emma Alexander said:
"There was a lot of energy in the room and that it was a great way for colleagues across the council to make connections and to learn about each others' work as well as to get some mutual support on climate change related issues."
