On 6 October, Corporate Services and Transformation will join them, having their home drives removed, followed closely by Place who will have their home drives made read-only.
I'm in CST, what happens next?
From 6 October your home drive will be removed and no longer available. This means that you will not be able to access your home drive or any files and folders that have not yet been moved to OneDrive. You must now review any remaining files and folders and relocate any work-related files to OneDrive if more appropriate storage locations are not available (such as EDRM).
I'm in Place, what happens next?
From 6 October your home drive will be made read-only. You will be able to open files in your home drive, and copy your files and folders (to paste them into your OneDrive), but you will not be able to make any changes, save any edits, or create new files and folders in your home drive.
All you need to do is review what you currently store in your home drive and copy work-related files to OneDrive if more appropriate storage locations are not available (such as EDRM) in the time allocated.
One month after, on 3 November, your home drive will no longer be available.
I'm in Adult Social Care and Health/Children's Services, what happens next?
Your home drives will be made read-only later in the year, but if you want to get started moving your files to OneDrive now, you can!
Anything else?
This move only relates to your home drive (the one with your payroll number) – no shared drives, EDRM files, or anything outside of that folder are included.
