Project teams across all service areas, who have been working hard to make sure we’re ready for the next stages of the LGR process, whatever the outcome, have made strong progress. This initial preparatory work is now over halfway complete.
The work so far has been focused on making sure all councils in Derbyshire have a shared understanding of what work is necessary to ensure essential services continue without disruption – from having the right systems in place to making sure key processes are clearly defined – so residents can continue to access the services they rely on from day one.
Review phaseIn the coming weeks, we’ll move into a review phase. This will help us check what’s been done so far, make any improvements needed, and make sure we’re on track and delivering the right outcomes.
