Making fire safety accessible: British Sign Language videos now available

Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service has launched new British Sign Language (BSL) fire safety videos, designed to make vital home safety information more accessible to the Deaf community.

These videos cover essential topics such as:

• how to prevent fires in the home
• what to do in an emergency
• how to test and maintain smoke alarms.

If you, residents that you work with, or family and friends are deaf or have hearing loss, please spread the word and watch the videos.
