Mandatory cybersecurity course

The cybersecurity mandatory course now needs to be completed annually.

The renewal date changed on Derbyshire Learning Online on Monday 16 February 2026 which has triggered emails to relevant individuals and managers about course completion expiry dates. We understand that the dates on some of these emails have caused some confusion so we'd like to apologise.  

If you have received an email please check the course expiry date and if you have completed the course more than 12 months ago please can you make time to complete it. Given the importance of cybersecurity for the council, please make sure you complete this as soon as possible. If you have any concerns please speak to your line manager.
