This was a surprise award and wasn’t on the nomination forms – the quality of overall nominations was so high and from first year apprentices who were competing with other apprentices in their fourth and fifth years, that it decided to present this extra award.
Charlotte’s manager said:
“Charlotte demonstrates a commitment to learning which is testament to her determination and self-motivation. She is an outstanding team player, always willing to support colleagues and embrace new challenges”.
“I was so surprised to win the award, I couldn’t have done it without the support from my managers and peers who have supported me so far through this amazing journey. It has been a struggle at times as when I started the course it was the start of the COVID pandemic. Both Derbyshire County Council and the university have been so supportive”.
Well done Charlotte!
