The trial provided a unique opportunity to experience the courtroom process first-hand and learn how insurance claims are defended in practice.
The event was delivered with the support of Clyde & Co, Risk Management Partners and the barristers involved, whose expertise helped bring the trial to life and create a useful learning experience for everyone who attended.
Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with delegates praising the realistic format and the valuable lessons around record keeping, evidence gathering and claims handling.
Special thanks go to volunteers Abbie Sorrell, Kevin Brett and Sophie Green, whose participation helped make the courtroom scenario authentic and memorable.
The event highlighted the importance of good record keeping, thorough investigations and collaborative working in successfully defending claims, while also providing an excellent opportunity for networking and shared learning across services and partner organisations.
