Standing Orders are the set of rules that govern how we spend public money. Following approval at Full Council last week the new Standing Orders are live.
The changes bring clearer governance, efficient processes and improved support to help us work smarter, save money and improve service while meeting legal requirements.
What's changing?

- Clearer roles and processes to remove confusion – no protocols or business cases.

- Alignment with the Procurement Act 2023 and new regulations.
