National Apprenticeship Week 2025

We're delighted to support National Apprenticeship Week 2025, taking place between 10 and 16 February 2025.

To bring this to life, we wanted to highlight some of the benefits of an apprenticeship that you may not be aware of.

Benefits of apprenticeships

If you're considering completing an apprenticeship, there are so many benefits:

• earn while you learn – having the opportunity to work towards and gain a qualification during your working week is a huge benefit
• embed your learning through your day job to practice what you've learned and bring knowledge to life in real situations
• develop new skills to support you to progress your career and improve your employability
• have hands-on support from your manager, your tutor and a chance to build a network with other apprentices
• once you have completed your apprenticeship, you will have earnt yourself a qualification that is nationally recognised

On Friday 14 February 2025 we're running 2 virtual drop-in sessions. There's a managers' session from 9am to 10am an employees' session from 11am to midday. There's no agenda, we're just putting time aside for you to drop in and ask any questions you may have on apprenticeships. Read more about apprenticeships at Derbyshire.
