What is National Apprenticeship Week?
This annual week-long celebration of apprenticeships, brings together businesses and apprentices across the country to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses and the wider economy.
This year's theme builds on the topic from last year – Skills for Life. This reflects how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career and businesses to develop a talented workforce that is equipped skills ready for the future.
Apprenticeships provide practical experience alongside a structured training programme delivered by approved training providers and are a great way to develop new skills, knowledge and experience. There are hundreds of apprenticeship options available meaning this could be an option for you to support your personal and professional development.
We're hosting 2 virtual drop-in sessions to support anyone who has a question about apprenticeships at the council.
