Network disruption to areas of County Hall north block - Thursday 9 December 2021

2 December 2021

Work on a new highways hub control room in north block at County Hall means that the computer network will need to be turned off in part of the north block building on Thursday 9 December 2021.

This will mean that you will not be able to access the network from some rooms. You'll also not be able to remotely connect to any machine in these rooms – this may affect some MapInfo users.

This should only affect small number of colleagues currently working from the affected rooms. If you would normally be working in County Hall's north block on 9 December 2021, please make sure you know which rooms will be out of use.

The rooms that will be affected will be:

  • basement: S21, S22, S23, S24, S25, S26
  • ground floor: N12, N13, N14, N9, N10, N7, N1, N3, N8
  • first floor: 188a, 188, 189, 190, 191, 192, 193, 194, 195, 199b/c/d/e
  • second floor: 287, 288, 289, 290, 291, 292, 293, 294, 295, 297, 298, 299
  • third floor: 386, 387, 388, 389, 390, 391, 392, 393, 395, 396, 397, 398, 399, 399a
