October is Black History Month 2023

Black History Month (BHM) is an annual celebration of the contribution that Black African and Caribbean communities have made both locally and across the country. It's an opportunity to learn, understand and celebrate Black cultures and histories and we are proud to be a part of this celebration.

Join us on Thursday 19 October 2023 from 1.30pm to 4.30pm to mark this year's Black History Month with the theme 'Celebrating Our Sisters'.

The programme for the day is currently being developed and we'll be able to tell you more about it in the next few weeks.

This in an in-person event and will take place in the Members' Room at County Hall.
