This is your opportunity to help recognise colleagues who have gone above and beyond to support each other and the people of Derbyshire, so please take the time to complete a nomination form for anyone you feel deserves to be rewarded.
Last year’s event was a great success and we received over 250 excellent nominations that really demonstrated the breadth of the work we do and the incredible commitment of our colleagues.
There are 9 categories this year which includes a new High Performing Team Award to celebrate teams that have delivered exceptional results or worked together to achieve something great.
The other categories remain the same and provide opportunities for individuals and teams across the whole organisation to be nominated for all their hard work.
The categories are:
- Rising Star Award
- Employee of the Year Award
- Inspiring Leader Award
- Lifetime Achievement Award – one winner from each department
- Vision Derbyshire Award
- Enterprising Council Award
- Serving Our Communities Award
- High Performing team Award (new for this year)
- The Managing Director’s Award

Each nomination will be carefully considered by our shortlisting panel who will select the finalists for each category. Our Managing Director, Emma Alexander, and our executive directors will then select the winners.
All the finalists will be invited to attend our awards event in May 2024.
