Performance development end of year reviews

Our Performance Development Review cycle runs from April to March every year.


The year-end PDR is a time to reflect on the year:

  • review and recognise performance against goals and feedback
  • reflect on progress towards career aspirations
  • review progress of your development action plan
  • confirm end of year performance and potential ratings – if applicable.

Your manager will book your end of year review by March 2026.

Before the meeting:

  • check your SMART goals from April and note your progress (grades 14+ should consider ratings)
  • reflect on how you have showed our values in your work
  • update your personal development plan
  • add any feedback you’ve received

After the meeting:

Write a summary of your meeting in your Word template Performance Development Review (PDR) which you should find in your HR files by clicking this icon on your desktop, or on the PDR app if you are grade 14 or above.
