Procurement Act 2023 – new requirements

From 1 April 2026, under the Procurement Act 2023, we will be required to publish contract details notices on the government's Find a Tender online portal for all spend over £25,000 (excluding VAT).

So that we can do this, all suppliers must be registered on Find a Tender. Suppliers only have to do this once and they will be provided with their unique identifying number.

The procurement team has already told suppliers what they need to do. The team has also updated our contract award notice form to include an optional field for the supplier's unique identifying number – where known.
