Protection from sexual harassment

26 February 2025

There is a new pro-active duty on employers to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment.

The Employment Rights Bill, currently passing through the parliamentary process, will strengthen this requirement, and also make employers liable for harassment by third parties in respect of other protected characteristics.

We will shortly be updating our procedure and other documentation. In the meantime, we remain committed to eliminating any form of harassment and bullying.

If you have any concerns about harassment or bullying, please discuss with your manager. If this isn't possible, you should speak to a more senior manager.
