Re-opening of office spaces through our Modern Ways of Working programme

12 November 2021

Our Modern Ways of Working programme is now making great progress in re-organising our office spaces so that they can be used to support service delivery in a more flexible way.

The clear space activity that many colleagues have been involved with at County Hall, John Hadfield House and Chatsworth Hall is due to be completed over the next few weeks. This is a vital piece of work that will provide us with the blank canvas needed to create our new workplace zones.

As communicated early in October, a phased re-opening of office spaces is due to begin shortly allowing more colleagues to access workspaces where needed. However, it’s important to remember that we will not be returning to our old way of working and the emphasis should be on what we do and how we do it, not which desk we use or which building we sit in.
