Security reminder

We recently carried out an an exercise to test access to our buildings.

Without ID but in business clothing, someone was not only able to follow 2 people into the building but was also able to follow someone into a secure area.

In order to keep us and our data safe, please remember the following:

• wear your ID at all times while on county council premises
• don't allow people to tailgate you unless you know them personally as a colleague
• be vigilant around people in secure areas – you can always ask someone if they are lost or need help if they don’t have ID or they are acting strangely.
