All employees are invited to observe 2 minutes' silence in remembrance of those who lost their lives while fighting for their country.
If you are hosting an online meeting, we encourage you to observe the silence along with other attendees.
A Service of Remembrance will be held in the reception area at County Hall, where wreaths will be laid at the memorial.
Employees working at County Hall are invited to view the remembrance service from the landing areas on floors 2 and 3 only from 10.50am.
Please do not enter the reception area during the service.
Colleague Izzy Jepson will play the Last Post to mark the start of the period of silence. The silence will be broken by the playing of Reveille.
Please note that the fire alarm at County Hall will not sound to mark either the start or the end of the period of silence. If you have organised meetings at County Hall during that time on Friday morning, please make sure that those attending are aware of these arrangements.
