Share Thando's Story to spread water safety message

We’re supporting Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service by sharing the heartbreaking story of 15-year-old Thando Ndlovu who tragically drowned in the River Trent near Swarkestone Bridge 2 years ago.

Thando’s parents have joined with Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service in a short film entitled ‘Thando’s Story’ to warn school children about the dangers of jumping or swimming in open water.

We’re supporting the campaign as a member of the Derbyshire Water Safety Partnership.
