Supporting clinically extremely vulnerable colleagues

7 January 2021

Following the announcement that we have now moved into a national lockdown, we've further updated our guidance for supporting clinically extremely vulnerable colleagues.

The updated guidance clarifies that if you are classed as clinically extremely vulnerable you should work from home. If your role cannot be undertaken from home then you should stay at home.

It may be that we redeploy colleagues who cannot work from home to other duties during this period but these will only be duties that you can perform from home.

Our clinically extremely vulnerable pay policy has also been updated and divided into 2 sections. During the current national lockdown, please refer to section B.

If you receive a letter from the NHS informing you that you should shield, please let your line manager know so that they can give you the support you need.
