Surface dressing repairs start later this week

Our annual surface dressing programme gets underway later this week, led by our highways delivery team.

We'll be using the treatment at 57 sites across the county at a cost of £3.6 million.

Surface dressing helps us to prolong the lifespan of the county's roads, by sealing out rainwater and preventing potholes from forming and is a cost effective way to improve our road surfaces.

Please allow a little extra time for your journey and keep to the reduced speed limit on the roads we've treated, to allow the chippings to properly bed down.
