UK Disability History Month 2024: What is autism?

Disability History Month runs until 20 December and this week we'd encourage you to find out more about autism. We want to promote understanding and inclusion, and support colleagues who may be facing challenges in the workplace.

Autism is a condition that affects how a person thinks, feels, interacts with others, and experiences their environment. It is a lifelong developmental disability that affects people in different ways - every autistic person is different to every other.
